October Highlights

October was another great month in our Joe Lee Johnson Library!

The month began with our 1st ever book fair, which ended up being a huge success! That week we also had our school ribbon cutting ceremony which meant several of important community members passed through the library while on campus and got to see all of the great happenings.

I was able to see almost all of the upper grade level classes to introduce our ebooks and audio books on MackinVIA.

The last week of October I was finally able to get all of our nonfiction genre signs hung up on shelves. 1st and 2nd grade classes got to learn about navigating our library by doing a scavenger hunt around the nonfiction section. Since our library doesn't use Dewey in the nonfiction section, it was easy for students to find what they wanted!

This infographic highlights some of the statistics for the month.
