Read Across America Week!


Reminder- This week is Read Across America Week! Celebrate your love of reading by participating with the following dress up themes:

Mon. 2/27- “Hamster Princess- Harriet the Invincible”-  Dress like a prince or princess.
Tue. 2/28- “Mesmerized”- Dress as a famous inventor.
Wed. 3/1- “Hoot Owl Master of Disguise”-  Wear your favorite disguise.
Thur. 3/2- “Dr. Seuss Day”- Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday by dressing up as your favorite Dr. Seuss character.

Fri. 3/3- “Dream Drum Girl”- Dress as your favorite musician.

January Highlights

2nd graders explored forces of motion





















After reading "Drum Dream Girl," 2nd graders explored types of drums on the Garage Band app.




1st grade students learned about literary nonfiction by reading "Henri's Scissors" and then made art like Henri Matisse.



3rd graders learned about drama!


  
4th grade looked at forces as well and experimented with speed!



3rd-5th graders who read at least 5 Bluebonnet Books got to come to the Bluebonnet Voting Party!
